Imagine the opportunity when Julia Child, author of Mastering the Art of French Cooking was asked if she would like to create a pilot for educational TV WGBH-TV to showcase some of her recipes: French omelettes, coq au vin and a not too complicated sampling of French cooking. This was the birth of her timeless program, The French Chef. It aired twice a week and in 30 minute segments she would educate, demonstrate and Voila present a recipe from start to finish. This book is a collection of the recipes that were featured on the show. They are also indexed by name and separated by subject to make it easy to find the recipe you want to find.
This cookbook was in a private collection and in very good condition. The book jacket shows wear and has some minor tears.
